Goals Summer 26

 I am happy to announce that I have worked through an awesome semester of 6 technical classes and Computer Science Club. Now it is summer and I have lot's of cool materials and things I'd like to get into! 

Goal 1: Spend nice time with my family

Goal 2: Do a nice job at Pre-College RA job 

Goal 3: Find and do a good job at a research/internship position (as of May 14th I still do not have one, but I have begun looking!) 

Goal 4: In my spare time I want to get into a lot of materials. I know I may not get through them all, but a good crack at just half of these would be awesome and increase my Computer Sciece skill tree tremendously: 

  • Web App Project 

  • 1 Research Papers a Week 

  • ML MATH (depth) & Hands on ML Book (depth) & Designing ML Systems (skim)

  • Tour of C++ (skim) & C++ Udacity & memory management (skim) 

  • Python Udacity & Fluent Python (skim) & arch patterns (skim)

  • Neet Code 150 & Grokking Coding Interview Map  & Grokking Road Map FAANG 2

  • Stats Udacity & Data Anal Udacity & ML Udacity & DL Udacity & ML AWS Udacity & data science from scratch (skim)

  • Fundamentals of SWE (depth) & Google Engineering (depth) & Udacity Cloud DevOps & System Design & Grokking System Design RoadMap & Grokking OOP 

  • Niche topics like overall mathematics, programming languages, low level (networking, compilers, operating systems, memory), theory of computation

I Love the Stevens Computer Science Club

I am a part of the Computer Science Club. We are a group of smart, kind and silly folks who meet once a week Wednesdays at 9:15 - 10:15 to cover CS topics or hold workshops. Past meetings have been Discord Bot workshops, FinTech TalkS, Upperclassmen panels, ML workshops and so much more.  The great thing about Stevens is all the organizations that are offered, there is really a club for everyone. I found SCSC to be mine because the people are very nice, outgoing and smart. I was able to come out my shell and talk to more people and meet amazing folks. I love this club and thank them for all the wisdom they have provided me and the relationships they’ve allowed me to form. I am even able to present my own topics sometimes!  Thank you SCSC!
